New Classes For January 2018
We are thrilled to be adding additional classes to the timetable for the upcoming term dates! We’ve got a new Baby/Pre Primary Tap class on a Monday. Due to popular demand, a Mini Acro class for ages 4-6yrs on a Thursday. Not forgetting about the adults, a new way to get fit for the new year, an Adult Jazz class on a Thursday evening. Christmas Panto 2017
Congratulations and good luck to Sienna who is currently performing in Jack And The Beanstalk at The Millfield Theatre. She has 31 performances running from November – December 2017. We can’t wait to come and see it!!
Time To Shine Season 3
On 24th and 25th July 2017 we had our bi-annual dance show. It took place at the lovely Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar and 150 of our students performed in both shows. It took us all many months to prepare but the final product was spectacular!!
Since the show we have had a staggering amount of current and new students sign up to more classes at Footworks Dance Academy. The children have inspired others to try new genres of dance and we are busier than ever!
We can’t wait for Season 4 and we hope you are a part of it!
Junior Associate Success 2017
A huge congratulations is in order to Sienna Clarke, Emmily Hidalgo and Katie Evans. All three girls successfully auditioned in July for The London Ballet Company and will attend the Royal Academy Of Dancing Headquarters once a month, for 11 months starting September 2017. Associate classes are dedicated to nurturing young, talented dance students. It’s a programme designed to compliment their existing dance training. We wish the girls a fantastic year and look forward to hearing all about it!!
Panto 2017
Congratulations to Sienna who successfully auditioned in January 2017 for the Easter panto, Little Red Riding Hood at The Dugdale in Enfield. She has just completed the run and performed a staggering 16 shows within two weeks!
We are all so proud of you!!
Class Showcase And Awards Ceremony 2016
On SUNDAY 11th DECEMBER 2016 at Mount Grace School, the children took to the stage to show off what they had learnt over the past couple of terms. It was a fantastic evening, with an audience of almost 300 watching! Trophies and rosettes were awarded to those who had shown progression and enthusiasm among many other attributes. All participating pupils received a Footworks medal for their hard work and commitment over the year. It was a brilliant end to 2016, well done everyone!
